1 Additional charges may be incurred for Estate Planning that goes beyond a typical plan. A typical plan for a couple provides for distribution to the surviving spouse, and then equal distribution to the couple’s children, if they survive, and then to grandchildren. A typical plan for a single person provides for distribution to children, if they survive, and then to grandchildren. Examples of the types of estate planning that may incur additional charges, include, but are not limited to: distributions to multiple persons or entities who are not issue, Charitable Trusts, Spendthrift Trusts, Life Estate Trusts, Special Needs Trusts, Disinheritance Provisions, and multiple special gifts of cash, tangible personal property or real estate, as well as sophisticated inheritance tax saving provisions, and trust funding.
